Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff |

Our charge includes basic services of funeral director and
staff, arrangement conference, recording vital statistics,
securing permits, filing and obtaining death certificates and
other forms and claims, preparation notices and coordination
of service plans with parties involved in the final
disposition of the deceased. This fee for our basic services
and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral
arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our
charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and
forwarding or receiving remains. |

Embalming (Temporary
Preservation) |

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by
law. Embalming may be
necessary, however, if you select certain funeral
arrangements, such as a funeral with
viewing. If you do not want embalming you usually have the
right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to

PREPLANNING
Many families are unfamiliar with
arranging a funeral, the options available and costs involved.
Uneasiness still exists in our society about death and dying
and thus inhibits prudent planning. Unless pre-planned,
funeral arrangements and decisions may be made under very
stressful circumstances.
Our professional staff here at
Weddle Funeral Services offers several avenues for preplanning
and prepaying. Pre-Arrangements can be very informal, by
discussing with families their own desires, options and prices
or more formal with actually making definite funeral
arrangements. This would include selection of funeral
merchandise and services and assisting in setting aside funds
for funeral expenses. |
