Billy Earl Mcfarland

Billy Earl McFarland was born on December 19, 1949 in Wheaton, MO to Dale and Meda McFarland. Oregon was always home for Billy but he did live for several years in Texas and Missouri. He married Linda Walker on May 15, 1970 in Jefferson, Oregon. Billy started out working at the Lumber Mill such as Willamette Industries as a forklift driver then he worked for Louisiana Pacific followed by Georgia Pacific where he took on supervisory positions. In his younger days Billy enjoyed flying planes, martial arts and working with ham radios. Later in life, he enjoyed traveling, politics, fishing and family. He especially enjoyed being a grandfather and his little dog, Buddy. Billy was especially proud of his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to brag about them. On June 3, 2018 Billy passed away at age 68 surrounded by his loving family in Albany, Oregon. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda, parents and sisters Lida and Lila. Billy is survived by his daughters, Lori (Mike) and Kaydee (Frank); grandchildren, Zachary, Samuel, Michael, Makaylee, Chloe; great grandchildren, Samuel, Bentley, Hunter and one on the way; siblings, Albert, Mary, Emma, Danny, Ricky, Gail and Larry.
