He also belonged to the Cascade Campers where he met many other couples who enjoyed traveling. Butch was also an avid square dancer who earned his masters in square dancing. During the summer Butch liked going to garage sales on Fridays. There was never a wasted moment throughout Butch’s life, he enjoyed keeping active and busy. He also liked to tell jokes and keep things lighthearted. He made several friends throughout the years with his many affiliations as he was truly a good friend and people person.
