Obituary for Darrin Patrick Wilson

Salem- Darrin Patrick Wilson was born November 29, 1964 in Eugene, Oregon to Jerry and Bonnie (Spangler) Wilson. Darrin lived in Veneta, Elmira and has a teenager he lived in Stayton. He graduated from Stayton High School in 1983; Darrin also took general education studies at Chemeketa Community College for a short time. However, he joined the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1986. Darrin met Toni Kammer when they were in their teens; their paths crossed periodically throughout their lives and eventually they married in 1996. As a youth, Darrin learned the recovery vehicle trade, which eventually led him to owning and operating The Lender Defender for the last 13 years with his wife Toni. Darrin was well respected by clients and those that he worked with because of his calm and respectful nature. No matter the situation, it was important to Darrin that he treated people with kindness. He was such a hard worker and devoted himself to his business but also his family. If he wasn’t at work or spending time with his family, he would be working in his yard. Darrin was generous and well loved by everyone who knew him. Darrin was also incredibly funny and humorous. He passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2019 in Stayton, Oregon at age 54. His passing leaves a huge void and he is missed deeply. Darrin was preceded in death by his father, Jerry and his son, Jason. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Toni; his mother, Bonnie; daughter Shelby; siblings, Sam, Cindy and Lynn; his grandchildren, Maddox, Allison and Peyton.
