Denise Anne Bridges

Lebanon- Denise Anne (Still) Bridges was born on November 7, 1956 in Weatherford, Texas to Donald Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Bolduc) Still. At a young age her family relocated to Garden Grove, California. Denise attended Santiago High School until 11th grade and eventually would earn her GED. She began working at the Umpco factory in Garden Grove but would later earn a degree in early childhood development from Riverside Community College. Denise loved helping children and used her degree as a teacher with KinderCare. She eventually shifted careers and attended tech school to become a Pharmacy Technician. In 1987, Denise would marry Randal Bridges who she met through a blind date. They married on October 17th in Orange, California. Together, they were blessed with a daughter, Emily Ann. Besides work and family, Denise enjoyed reading and could always be found with a book in her hand. Eagerly seeking more to learn, Denise had a good sense of knowledge on a vast number of subjects. She could be considered somewhat of a “Foodie” and loved to learn about food in other parts of the world. Her love of ethnic food and culture grew, as did her cookbook collection, and she went on to study many world religions as well. Denise was also an animal lover. She was kind to mother nature and always made effort to be more environmentally aware. Denise passed away on March 14, 2021 in Lebanon, Oregon. Denise will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Her kindness to others, animals and the environment will always leave a legacy. Denise requested no services so her family will honor her wishes.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Still; a sister, Darlene Still. She is survived by her husband, Randal Bridges and daughter, Emily Ann (Dustin) Murray; siblings, Donny Still and Darryl Still.
