Don Robert Obadencio was born on August 3, 1957 in Hilo, Hawaii to Ermito and Jane (Kamalii) Obadencio.  He was raised and lived most of his life in Hawaii. In 1980, Don enlisted into the United States Army.  He would serve for four years before being honorably discharged at the rank of SP4. Soon after joining the Army Don would meet Connie Wills and the two would be married on January 15, 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  After being discharged from the Army Don would move back to Hawaii and would soon go to work for the Transportation Security Administration which he would continue to work for almost ten years.  Don would also live off and on in Indiana before settling down in Oregon for the last year of his life. In his spare time Don enjoyed a variety of activities from photography, woodwork, working out in the yard, fishing, and music.  He had a kind heart and loved helping others, as well as, being with loved ones.  Don was a part of Jesus First Responders where he enjoyed reaching out to others including helping to feed and clothe the homeless.  Don was also very devoted to God.  He enjoyed sharing his testimonies to God and in the last year he worked very hard to become the best version of himself and grow closer to God. On March 3, 2020 Don passed away in Stayton, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ermito and Jane Obadencio; his brothers, Jason and Ermito Jr. and sisters Sheila and Tina.  He is survived by his children, Robert (Dawn) Obadencio, Puanani (Larry) Crittendon, and Michael (Melissa) Obadencio; wife, Connie Obadencio; siblings, Peggy (Tim) Obadencio, Cynthia (Jim) Welser, and Joelynn (Debra) Obadencio; and 13 grandchildren.
