Eleanor May Mcdougal

Eleanor May McDougal May 4, 1927 January 23, 2016 Turner, Oregon Eleanor M. McDougal was born in San Diego, California on the 4th day of May, 1927. She passed away on Saturday, the 23rd of January. She was 88. The daughter of Leslie and Ella Thornton. Eleanor  was raised in California and met Don while he was serving in the Navy and they  married to  on Oct. 17, 1948 in Yuma, Arizona. They made their home in California  before moving to Salem and then to Turner in 1959. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working on their property and loved music and dancing. She is survived by her beloved husband, Don; children, Dorothy Marruci,  Mike McDougal, Gloria Whitfield, Thelma Predmore, Larry McDougal,  Brian McDougal; grandchildren, Kurt, Taylor, Michael, Kate, Lisa, Jake, Vicky, Tammy, Bobby, Lori, Samantha, Tracy, Larry Jr., Jennifer and Carrie;  and 21 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kyle Ann; and brothers, Gilbert, Albert, Roy and Fred. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28th from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm followed by Funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Foothills Church, Stayton. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Salem. Memorials may be made to the Foothills Church, Stayton. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.
