Gerald "Wayne" Mitchell

Gerald “Wayne” Mitchell was born on October 9, 1961 in Willow, California and passed on January 25, 2020 at age 58 in Stayton, Oregon. Wayne loved fishing and hunting. If he was indoors he loved watching Vikings Football or Nascar while enjoying a Budwesier. He was a simple guy with a good sense of humor. Wayne earned the nickname “Papa Rooster” from some of his grandchildren, which originated from his love of John Wayne Westerns. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Mitchell; mother, Thelma Bicksford; grandson, Cody Ellis; brothers, Tommy, Billy, Jerry and Rick Tilson. He is survived by his companion, Tracy Mitchell; children, Ryan (Nita) Mitchell and Monica Mitchell; grandchildren, Tommy and Austin Mitchell, Kaylee Mitchell, Anthony, Kayla and Nathan Ellis; great grandchildren, Amelia and Serenity Campa in addition to his siblings, June Prieto, Teressa Berri and Bobby Tilson.
