Dear Family of Glenis- Bill, Mary, Diana, Joanna, Kathleen, Ian and all the very precious spouses, grands and greats..... 'Cause Glenis thought all of you were grand and great!!! Glenis was an extremely intelligent woman with many interests, skills, abilities and hobbies. She loved a beautiful home, lovely feminine clothes, sewing, quilting, creating, giving, sharing (The Oakville Methodist Wednesday Quilting group really missed her when she moved to Idaho. Said, “She was our mathematician.”) Besides the fun of garage sales, she loved traveling all over the world, always ready to go!!! As I recall at age 4, she was the youngest passenger to fly, unaccompanied on the airline that took her back east to live with an uncle’s family. When I asked her if she was scared, she clearly indicated it was probably, to her, an exciting adventure! Though she loved books and learning, by far her two top priorities were her faith and her family. Among other fun times with family homemade wild blackberry pies and a big “share puzzle” were warm loving traditions, also Rummikub. During the last several years kind and caring Kathleen was not only a caregiver but comforter, companion, cook and cheerleader! Glenis loved their very many courageous adventures together! Wow!!! Our prayers for you, is that, as you share hugs, stories, memories, tears and laughter, your hearts will heal.
