Glenn Jeffrey Mitchell September 2, 1960 October 29, 2016 Salem Glenn Mitchell was born on September 2, 1960 to Kenneth and Janice Mitchell in Salem, Oregon. He passed away on October 29, 2016 surrounded by his family and at peace at home. The family wishes to thank Willamette Valley Hospice for their care and support. Glenn was a graduate of Cascade High School and has worked for the last eleven years as a machinist at ATI Wah Chang. Previously, he earned his Associates Degree at Chemeketa Community College. He worked as a fireman and paramedic in Oregon and overseas. Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and either participating in or watching sporting events. He also enjoyed travel, camping, and dining out. His warm sense of humor and gracious spirit will dearly be missed.Glenn is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Janice Mitchell of Salem; his brother, Larry Mitchell (Alice), and Daryl Mitchell (Patricia) of Salem, OR, and Mark Martin (Robin) of Wilsonville, OR; his niece, Megan Morgan (Dale), Rachel Mitchell, and Rebekah Mitchell of Salem. A private graveside service is planned with a Celebration of Life at Relevant Life Church East Campus, 491 Lancaster Dr. NE, Salem on Friday, November 11, at 1pm. Memorial arrangements are being provided by Weddle Funeral Services. In lieu of cards or flowers, please send donations to your local American Cancer Society.
