Isaac M. Calvo April 23, 1934 September 29, 2014 Resided in Aumsville, Oregon On September 29, 2014, Isaac Maratita Calvo Sr. peacefully started his journey into eternal life at the age of 80 in his Aumsville, Oregon home. He was surrounded by his wife and loving family. Born April 23, 1934 in Rota, Northern Mariana Islands, Isaac was a lifelong educator, mentor, brother, friend, and father figure to many. Isaac was an avid card player and loved having visitors into his home for a friendly game. He was indeed a modern day patriarch with a deep Christian faith that he practiced daily. Fond memories of Isaac will live on through all those who have been blessed by his wisdom and grace, which he exhibited through unlimited kindness and earnest humility. His heart and hands were always open to welcome anyone into his home or life. His loving memory continues on with his wife of 58 years, Fidelia Mendiola Calvo, their 11 children and spouses, 29 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren: Viewing of Isaac M. Calvo will be held on Tuesday October 7 from 1PM to 6PM at the Weddle Funeral Home, 1777 N. Third Ave., Stayton, Oregon. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 8 at 1PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1077 N. Sixth Ave., Stayton, Oregon, with burial immediately following. The family extends an invitation to celebrate Isaac’s new life at a reception at his residence in Aumsville after the service.
