Isaac Richard David Pond was born on July 21, 1999 in Bellflower, California to James Carlton Pond, Jr. and Melody Katherine Moen. In 2004 his family moved from California to Salem, Oregon where he attended Pringle Elementary. Eventually, his family would relocate to Mill City where he would attend Santiam High School. Isaac was always young at heart and would be goofy, trying to make everyone around him laugh. However, he was equally caring and understanding. His passion was fishing on the Santiam River and enjoying the great outdoors. When not fishing, he would enjoy playing sports, his X-Box and harassing his many siblings! Isaac worked at Giovanni’s Mountain Pizza as a pizza roller, this was a perfect job for him as he was social and enjoyed people. Isaac had so many special qualities that made him a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family and was immensely proud of his nieces and nephews- he loved being an uncle to them. Isaac passed away on December 31, 2020 in Mill City, Oregon at age 21, although his passing comes too soon, his family shares comfort in the fact that Isaac loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his sister, Autumn Katherine Lynn Pond. He is survived by his father, James Carlton Pond, Jr (Rochelle); mother, Melody Katherine Pond; siblings, James C. Pond III, Serena Faith Marie Bodda, Jerry Lee Wyatt Pond, Harmony Amber Rose Pond, Hayden Andrew James Pond, Damian VanMichael Cartmell, Brett Alan Johnson II, Maeley Raychele Johnson and Jacob Tyler Rutherford; an uncle, David Emery; grandparents, Linda Lou Pond and Lucy Elmange; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made towards funeral expense.
