June Teva Hatlestad

June Teva Hatlestad was born June 5, 1953 in Nampa, Idaho to Reginaldo Ortega and Nativida Marie Quintana. She had 9 siblings: Paul Ortega, Grace Maybury, Reginaldo Ortega Jr, Frank Ortega, Manuel Ortega, Sally Fisher, Leonard Ortega, Joe Ortega, and Charlie Ortega, so there was always someone to spend time with. June went to North Salem High School. On February 24, 1975 in Vernal, Utah June Teva Ortega married Larry Dean Hatlestad. Together they had 2 children, Stephanie Cubias, and Larry R. Hatlestad. June lived with Larry in Salem, Oregon raising their family together. June was blessed with 10 grandchildren: Angelique, Reganaldo, Ana, Sarah, Theresa, Elizabeth, Patrick, Antonio, Jaciry, and John Henry. She also enjoyed the company of her 10 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. June’s hobbies included playing bingo, going to the casino, baking, and spending time with her family. On January 14, 2021 June Teva Hatlestad passed away in Salem, Oregon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reginaldo and Nativida, and her siblings, Paul, Frank, Reginaldo, Leonard, Joe, and Grace. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed deeply by those she loved.
