Lynn David Kuenzi

Lynn David Kuenzi, age 78, of Salem, Oregon, went to be with his Savior on February 13, 2021. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Lynn was born September 11, 1942, in Silverton, Oregon, to Harvey and Emma (Kaser) Kuenzi. Lynn graduated from Silverton Union High School in 1960 and from Oregon State University in 1966 with a degree in accounting. He worked for the Oregon Department of Revenue until his retirement. He married Marilyn Walter on October 4, 1969 in Fairbury, IL. Lynn is survived by his wife Marilyn; son, Christopher (Mary) of Salem, Oregon and daughters, Kari (Jesse) Te Slaa of Salem, Oregon, Kimberly (Shawn) Schurter of Salem, Oregon and Kathryn (Eric) Wuthrich of Burlington, Iowa, as well as 12 grandchildren. He is survived by five siblings: Helen Dettwyler, Glen Kuenzi, Ralph Kuenzi, James Kuenzi and Richard Kuenzi. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Emma Kuenzi, and four siblings: Lewis Kuenzi, Lee Kuenzi, Marian Sinn and Robert Kuenzi. Lynn gave his life to the Lord in 1973 and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Silverton. His faith in Jesus Christ gave him strength and joy throughout his life. Lynn spent many hours enjoying family history, water color painting, quilting, cross stitching and visiting with friends and family. He showed a special interest in his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He loved well.
