Rebecca Elaine Beard

Rebecca Elaine Beard, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2020 in Sublimity. Rebecca was born on January 21, 1943 in Dallas, Oregon to Clayton and Wanda (Taylor) Beard. She attended Dallas High School and graduated in 1961. Following graduation, she married Johnny Lynn Hesselgrave on September 1, 1961. They had two children: Lynne and Chris. Rebecca attended school to study accounting for 2 years. After she graduated, she worked as an accountant for many years. Rebecca loved the beach (especially Hawaii) and visiting her father in Alaska. She was a wonderful cook, and she enjoyed family gatherings. She especially adored all of her nieces, nephews and cousins. Rebecca was preceded in passing by her parents, and her brother Raymond Beard. She is survived by her children, Lynne (husband, Terry) Patrick and Chris (wife, Gidget) Hesselgrave; her grandchildren, David (wife, Emily) Patrick, Justin Arnold, Larry (wife, Amanda) Patrick and Madison (husband, Matt) Stanton; great-grandchildren, Tye, Emerson, Paxon, Harper, Parker and Ford; and her sister, Betty Alderson. Services will be held at a later date.
