Reina “Rayne” R. Hamilton was born February 24, 1942, in Alameda, California, to John Fausto and Lucia Vivian Donnelly (Flores) Robles. She grew up in California, living in San Leandro and Dublin. After high school she earned an associates degree in medical assisting. Rayne married John F. Hamilton on May 15, 1976, raising Rayne’s daughter together and welcoming a son of their own. They moved to Salem, Oregon, where they have lived for the last 43 years. Rayne was an artist and made her career as a potter. Another of her creative outlets was sewing, and she also has a tile for Israel on the Salem Riverfront Park Acid Ball. She loved the outdoors and exploring, and found great peace being out in nature. Rayne loved her husband and children and adored her grandkids, and it brought her great joy to spend time with those she loved. Rayne loved and served the Lord, and she and John were active in their church, Brunstad Christian Church, in Salem. On October 8, 2021, Rayne left this world and entered into the arms of her Savior. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ricardo Robles. Rayne is survived by her husband John Hamilton; children Shaula Coulson and Dax Hamilton; grandchildren Claire Snyder, Candice Coulson, Jonah Hamilton, Julia Hamilton Kristiansen, Faith Hamilton, Vivienne Hamilton; and siblings Delores Kerry, Arturo Robles, and Juan (Nomi) Robles.
