Obituary for Robert Lee Fate Stacy

Robert Lee Fate Stacy was born on April 29, 1963 in San Francisco, California to George Donald Stacy Sr. and Louise Sharon (Warren) Stacy. Robert was one of five children. The family returned to Oregon and Robert graduated from Cascade High School in 1981.
While in high school he was a member of “Who’s Who in American High School Students”. Later, he would earn a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University, graduating with honors. During this time Robert also served in the Oregon National Guard from 1981-1982. Robert was incredibly intelligent, he would take his Certified Public Accountant exam and passed on the first try.
He would open his own CPA firm called “RLS CPA” in Tigard. Robert enjoyed giving financial advice and peace of mind to his clients, it was truly was of his passions. He was also a longtime member of Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA).
Robert married Jane Harvey on September 4, 1982 in Turner, OR. Jane knew they were meant to be when she returned from a trip to Minnesota and Robert was waiting on her sofa. They would live in Portland, but eventually bought their family home in Salem, Oregon in 1997. Robert was a loving father and blessed with two sons, Jacob Lee Stacy and Tad Tucker Stacy.
When not working or spending time with his family, Robert enjoyed computers, cooking, reading and stamp collecting.
On September 28, 2020, Robert passed away at age 57 in Portland, Oregon. Robert was and is his families best friend, beloved Father. He leaves behind his wife, T. Jane Stacy; sons, Jacob Lee Stacy and Tad Tucker Stacy; siblings, Michelle (Steve) Cooper, George Stacy, Jr., Benjamin (Julie) Stacy, Rebecca (Jason) Taylor.
