Obituary for Tina Mask

Tina Dawn Mask was born November 17, 1960, in Bakersfield, California, to Lee Edward and Eula Sudie (Nunn) Lueallen Sr. She grew up in California with two brothers and three sisters. Upon marrying, she moved to Scio, Oregon where she would raise her two daughters: Misty Dawn and Carrie Jean.Tina attended Linn Benton Community College and earned an associate degree specializing in print technology. Over the years she worked as a printer for various print shops in the Albany area. Even though she worked outside the home, she was still a homemaker and a very involved mom. She volunteered at the preschool and elementary school in Scio, first in her daughters’ classes, then her grandchildren’s classes as well. When the grandkids moved on to middle school she couldn’t help herself and kept on volunteering at the elementary school for enjoyment. Family was everything to Tina and she loved her daughters and adored her grandchildren. She was known as Aunt Tina or Grandma Mask to so many in her large extended family and community in general. She was definitely a people person and loved to join in all the activities in the community. Tina loved her small town and was always there for sporting events for her kids, nieces and nephews, or whoever else she knew, and she was always the loudest cheerleader in the stands. Raised to be a strong and independent woman, Tina raised her girls that way as well. She was also a creative soul and very artistic, enjoying arts and crafts of any kind. Tina was an avid rockhound and loved the outdoors, especially time spent down at the Crick with family and friends, camping and swimming and making cherished memories. “My Rock!” She was a lover of the outdoors and especially loved beautiful sunsets, taking endless pictures of the colorful celestial masterpieces, wondering over their awe-inspiring creation. Every sunset holds her beautiful smile.Tina also loved animals and over the years had all kinds on their property, her dog, cats, and chickens among her favorites. With the greenest thumb anyone ever saw, she grew beautiful flowers, houseplants, and bountiful produce. There were always hummingbirds around for her to feed and admire, flitting around in all their colorful glory. Tina loved her small-town country life, full of love, family, community, and natural beauty.  When Tina’s health began to fail, her daughters were there every step of the way, caring for their mom until she breathed her last breath on December 26, 2020, able to spend one final Christmas with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David, and her niece Crystal. Tina is survived by her daughters Misty Dawn (Matt) Heil and Carrie (Tom) Leiferman; step-children Julie Kingery and Shawn Mask; grandchildren Tawni, Jonathan, Samantha, Ashley, Zoey, Kade, Noah, Emma, Evey, Haven, and Denver; great-grandchildren Bailey, Cadence, Diamond, Lincoln, Kenzel, and Melody; siblings Lee Edward Jr, Carolyn, Linda, and Brenda; and countless other extended family members. There was never enough time but she loved with her whole heart while she could. She is greatly missed.
