Burton "Burt" Jacobson

Burton "Burt" Jacobson was born on April 2, 1919 in Philadelphia, Penn. to Joseph and Faye (Riser) Jacobson. He served as a Merchant Marine during WWII from 1943 until his Honorable Discharge in 1946. During his time in the service, he worked as a Radio Mechanics Operator.  After he was discharged from the service, he worked as a Traveling Salesman. He traveled the world, and was especially fond of Europe.  Burt passed away at the age of 101 on May 20, 2020 in Corvallis, Oregon. He leaves behind his son, Robert "Jake" Jacobson; his step-daughters, Melanie Lomoro and Mallia Mayer; siblings, Helen Bortan and Richard Jacobson; as well as his nieces and nephews. No services will be held.
