Dean Elroy Jenness, born on May 24, 1952, in Albany, Oregon, lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a profound passion for music. Dean was the cherished son of Opal Stucker and Merle Jenness. He spent his formative years in Albany, Oregon, ultimately graduating from Jefferson High School in 1970.
Dean's life took a joyful turn when he married the love of his life, Rosetta (Rose) Jenness, on August 21, 1982, in Yuma, Arizona. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and companionship.
A distinguished Master Mason, Dean exemplified the values of brotherhood, charity, and integrity. His love for music was a defining aspect of his life, and he was an accomplished guitar and bass player. Dean's musical talents brought joy to many, and his performances were always filled with passion and soul.
Dean is survived by his devoted children, Debbie Hopper, Sue Dahlen, and Don Switzer, who each carry forward his legacy of love and dedication. His family also includes 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy for Dean. He is also survived by his four loving sisters, who shared countless memories and moments with him throughout his life.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, and two of his grandchildren, each loss leaving an indelible mark on his heart. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
