The world dimmed when Debora "Debbie" Ann Hale passed away on March 23, 2025, in Sublimity, Oregon at the age of 76. Born on December 21, 1948, in Prosser, Washington, to Maxine Quintus and Cloyd Marley, Debbie lived a life woven with love, laughter, and deep connections.
A proud graduate of Moses Lake High School, Class of 1967, Debbie carried her determination and attention to detail into her career as an Accounts Payable Clerk at CED in Bakersfield, where she worked with diligence and integrity.
For 58 cherished years, she was the devoted and loving partner of her husband, Robert “Bob” Hale. Together, they built a home filled with affection and shared passions. As a mother to Michael and Shirley, she nurtured, guided, and loved unconditionally. Debbie’s pride extended to her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her endless joy. Her heart was expansive, reaching beyond family to lifelong best friends, Marlene and Ken Conway, and their family, who shared in years of treasured memories.
Debbie found beauty in the simple joys of life, tending to the exquisite succulent garden she cultivated with Bob and carefully adding to her cherished collection of bird figurines. In their early years together, Debbie and Bob reveled in the great outdoors, embracing camping, boating, and snowmobile adventures with dear friends and their children.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Cloyd and Janet Marley, and her sisters Colene Danielson and Cathy Garlock.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; children, Michael and Shirley; siblings, Victoria Salimenen, Rick Poole, and Ron Marley; grandchildren, Christina, Anna, Kelsie, Madison, Grant, Cole, Reagan, and Emriella; and great-grandchildren, Seth, Kelly, Kiera, Leighann, Khloe, Harley, Albert, and Lenora. Debbie was a member of Silverton Foursquare Church, where she found strength and community.
Debbie’s love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and togetherness, a life truly well-lived.
