Donna Murphy

Donna Lee Murphy, 89, of Salem, Oregon, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1935, in Alhambra, California, to Norman and Rena Jones.

Donna spent most of her adult life in Salem, where she worked in apartment management until her retirement. She was a woman of strong faith who found great joy in worship music and was deeply inspired by the ministry of Billy Graham.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Grant-Cowan (Lowell), Ronald Grant (Pam), and Kenneth Grant (Debbie). She was a beloved grandmother to Natasha Wardley, Larry Grant, Ryan Grant, Shannon German (step), Jason Anderson (step), Ricky Grant, Joe Grant, Heather Rooks (step), and Jesse Renhard (step).

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Grant; her grandson, Nathan Wardley; and her siblings, Norman Jones and Marilyn Boek.

Donna’s faith was the foundation of her life, and now, she has gone home to be with the Lord.
