Ernie Everett Van Vlack

Ernest “Ernie” Everett Van Vlack was born on December 7, 1953 in Myrtle Point, Oregon to Edward Everett Van Vlack and Bessie May Bush. Ernie was one of eight children. His siblings are Bob, Tom, Judy, Gloria, Ted, Tina, and Ron. Ernie graduated from Myrtle Point High School. Ernie lived in Oregon his entire life and worked in construction or the logging industry, which he retired from. Ernie had two children, Elijah Van Vlack and Eddie Van Vlack. He had 4 grandchildren: Ashley Lynn Van Vlack, Alisha Lorene Van Vlack, Alexis Marie Van Vlack, and Jeremiah Edwin Hunter Van Vlack, and one great-grandchild Bentley Allen Hendrix. Ernie’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. On December 10, 2020 Ernie passed away at home in Philomath. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bessie. He will remain forever in the hearts and memories of his loved ones and he will be missed deeply.
