Eugene Merrill Snyder

Eugene Merrill Snyder passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 13, 1927 on a farm near Hayes Center, Nebraska to C. Edward and L. Marsha Snyder. He married Harriett A. Young on December 30, 1950 in Beloit, Kansas. He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 and was stationed in Trieste, Italy. He graduated from Kansas State College in 1955 and worked as a soil scientist for the Department of Interior in Browning Montana and Flagstaff, Arizona. After retirement he moved to Turner, Oregon where he joined his brother, John O. Snyder, DVM and opened the Turner Farm Store. Eugene was preceded in death by his Parents C. Edward and L. Marsha, as well as, his brother John. He is survived by his loving wife Harriett, daughter, Susan J. Gerros; son, Robert E. Snyder and granddaughter, Kristin Snyder.
