Gary H. Schott August 1, 1948 March 27, 2015 Lyons, Oregon Gary Schott, 66, of Lyons, Oregon passed away March 27, 2015 at his home. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. Gary was born August 1 1948 to Harold and Adeline(Ellis) Schott in Salem, Oregon. He was raised in Sublimity, Oregon and remained in the valley his entire life. He met his beloved wife and best friend Pat Schott (Blythe) and they were married on October 6, 1967 in Vancouver, Washington. Gary worked in the timber industry for over 40 years until his retirement in 2013. Gary enjoyed hunting, (often looking forward to taking the grandkids) fishing, and his family. Garys family was the light of his life. Gary is survived by his wife, Pat of Lyons; daughter Angela (Larry) Kennison of Scio; son, Gary (Tami) Schott of Lyons; grandchildren, Terry Edwards, Michael and Nicholas Kennison, Amber, Brianna, and Caylee Schott; Great Grandchildren, Nalah and Owen Edwards; Cayden and Broden Kennison. Brothers, Larry and Jerry Schott; sisters Elaine Blythe, Karen Myrick, Thelma Mitchell, Janet East, and Ruthann Rousseau. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, & sisters Kay Becker and Delores Schott. Services will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Weddles Funeral Chapel in Stayton, OR.
