Glenna passed away at age 77 on February 23, 2018 in Salem, Oregon after a long illness. She was born on April 28, 1940 in Grangeville, Idaho to Cecill and Viola (Cline) Randall. When Glenna was a baby the family moved from Idaho to Sisters, Oregon and later on moved to Mill City, Oregon where she graduated from Santiam High School. While attending a dance, she met Al Ward Jr. and they fell in love, marrying on December 7, 1962 in Reno, Nevada. Al and Glenna enjoyed going to dances together and she was exceptional at it. Together, they worked incredibly hard to finance and open their own logging company, Al Ward Logging. Glenna did the book keeping for the business while Al managed the labor side. Besides work, Glenna enjoyed many activities such as bowling and golfing. She really enjoyed hunting elk and deer, Glenna was a great shot. She loved to fish, even taking a trip to Alaska with Al to do so. Glenna was also an exceptional canner. She would can anything and everything- pickles, beans, corn, tomatoes, and fruit. Kim, her daughter had many memories in the kitchen with her mom canning into the morning hours. As Glenna got older, she enjoyed taking trips to the beach with her grandson Alexander. Glenna will be dearly missed by her friends, family and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Al Ward; daughter, Kim Ward; a grandson, Alexander Ward; and two sisters, Novalee Johnson and Lana Fisher.
