Heather Melina Jones

Heather Melina Jones was born on August 25th, 1976 to Tilford Jones and Sharon Kuger in Portland, OR. Heather was incredibly ambitious and smart, she was excited to enter the workforce immediately out of high school. Heather began a career with Standard Insurance, where she built deep relationships with her co-workers. They would often say her talents were being wasted, after some convincing she left Standard Insurance to become a self-employed career job coach. Heather found much passion in this work and the move paid off. In addition to her hard work ethic, Heather enjoyed reading novels, traveling, knitting/crocheting and crafts. Heather passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Corvallis, Oregon. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Iris Ely and Helen Jones and her grandfather, Elliott Jones. Heather is survived by her mother Sharon, father Tilford; brother, Wesley; sister, Amanda; Uncle, Mike; Aunt Kathy; Uncle, Don; Uncle, James and many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her beloved dog Olive and her cat, Jake.
