Helga Schmid Lowrey, born on May 29, 1939 in Heilbronn, Germany, passed away at age 78 on May 15, 2018 in Canby, Oregon. She was the cherished Oma to grandson Christopher. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Jim); sons, Daniel (Janet), David, and Robert; brothers, Klaus and Helmut; sister, Alma; and grandchildren, April, Jimmy, Michael, Kelly and Katie; Jennifer, Tina, Danielle, and Justin; and Christopher. She is preceded in death by her sister Lori. Helga loved gardening, needlework, and romance novels. Our memories of Oma will forever live in our hearts. All services will be private. The funeral home will be Weddle Funeral Service in Stayton, Oregon. Private family service.
