James T. Rushing

Lames T Rushing August 1, 1920 March 25, 2011 Jefferson, Oregon James was born to Joseph and Laura (Church) Rushing in Bennington, Oklahoma After a brief time serving in the Army, he worked as a farmer and truck driver.  He had been married to Nellie, Dorothy and Carole who preceded him in death.  James was a member of the Apostolic Life Church in Albany.  He was a kind spirit and loved to share his life stories with family and friends.   He will be dearly missed by daughters; Carolyn Martin, Diane Jones, of Jefferson, OR; Barbara Simpson of Anchorage, Alaska, sons; Charles Rushing of Jefferson,  Billy Rushing of Medford, siblings; Hershel Rushing of Williams, CA and Phil Rushing of Bakersfield, CA,  25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by his children, Mary Peterson, Curtis Rushing, Deloris Rushing, Lloyd and Donald Rushing, siblings; Lonzo, Tensey, Lily Mae, and Beatrice, two grandchildren. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Jefferson Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
