John A. McCauley July 19, 1968 – Oct. 29, 2010 Salem, Oregon John A. McCauley, of Salem, died Friday, Oct. 29th in Salem.  Born and raised in Stayton, he graduated from Stayton high school and had worked as a tunnel monitor for Greenbury Iron.  He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  He moved to Salem just over 2 years ago.  He had many friends in the Stayton area.  He enjoyed fishing and playing with his dog “Honey Bear”. He is survived by his father, Charles of Salem; brothers, Chuck of Mill City, Robert of Stayton; sister, Doris Gomez of Jefferson; grandmother, Hazel Staley of Stayton; nieces and nephews.
