June M. A. Harris

June M. A. Harris, born May 16, 1936, in Northampton, United Kingdom, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, in Mill City, Oregon. She was the beloved daughter of Winifred Marriott and George W. Meadows, and her early years in Northampton shaped the steady, thoughtful, and resilient woman she would become.

After completing high school, June married Ron Harris in their hometown of Northampton on June 7th 1954, beginning a marriage rooted in devotion and partnership. Her only son, Mark Edmund was born November 6th 1955.

In October 1962 the family immigrated to Canada and then in 1968 ended up immigrating is southern California where she embarked on a respected career as an escrow officer.

In 1992, June moved to Bonita, California, where she joined her son and daughter‑in‑law to help raise their three boys. This chapter became one of the most meaningful seasons of her life. She poured her heart into her family, offering guidance, stability, and unconditional love as she helped shape the childhoods of her grandsons.

In October of 2015, June relocated with her family to Mill City, Oregon. There she enjoyed the comfort of close-knit family life and the peaceful rhythm of small‑town living. Surrounded by those she loved most, she continued to offer the same steady presence and thoughtful care that had defined her life’s journey.

June was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her brothers Roy and Derrik Meadows, and her son Mark Harris. She is survived by her daughter‑in‑law Margaret Harris and her grandsons Carl R. Harris, Tyler (Ty) E. Harris, and Ronald (Ron) M. Harris, each of whom carries forward her legacy.
