Karen O'Dell

Karen Ann O’Dell, born on December 28, 1967, peacefully passed away on March 19, 2024, surrounded by family in Stayton,

Oregon. Karen was born and raised in Silverton hills. Karen was a cherished friend and esteemed colleague, holding a business degree that she wielded with grace and determination.

Survived by her devoted siblings—Calvin O’Dell Jr., Lynn Jamsgard, and Alan O’Dell—Karen’s legacy extends to her beloved children: Rosemarie, Tom, and Buz Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Sr., her mother, Bonita, her brother, Robert, and her long-lost step-sister, Norma Jean, as well as her infant daughter Rosemarie.

A private graveside service to honor Karen’s memory will take place in Silverton hills at Green Mt. Cemetery. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, her loyal companion Whinny, and the many friends and colleagues whose lives she touched.
