Kary Janel Bullis

Kary Janel Bullis, 48, died April 9, 2019 at her home in Lyons, Oregon. She was born on February 2, 1971, in Portland, Oregon, to Roger and Barbara (Grant) Bullis. Kary will be fondly remembered for her gracious heart and loving smile. She graduated from St. Helens High School in 1989 then attended Western Oregon University, majoring in accounting.  After graduation, she moved to the Miami, Florida, area and was a CFO of a start-up company.  Missing Oregon, she moved back in 2010 and settled in the Salem area where she was an accountant. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and loved fishing and crabbing out of Newport. Kary was preceded in death by her mother Barbara. She is survived by her parents Roger (Sandy Bundy) Bullis; her sisters Tracy (Frank) Valdespino of Garden Grove, California and Kristy (Billy) Childers of Vancouver, Washington; and her long-time partner Shawn Burgess.   In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kary’s name to the Columbia Pacific Food Bank, 474 Milton Way # B, St Helens, OR 97051.
