Lois E Johnson

Lois E. Johnson, of Sublimity, OR, died peacefully 10/6/26. She was born near Wendell, MN on Aug. 21, 1932. She was 94.

She married Herbert Johnson on June 6, 1954. Lois was the head teacher at Winona (MN) Day Care Center for 13 years. She loved to play the piano and played until her death. Upon retiring, Herb and Lois moved to Cottonwood, AZ. They traveled extensively. After Herb's death, Lois moved to OR to be near family.

She is survived by two children, Carrie (Kevin) and Jay (Carole); 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Herb, son Peter, and grandson Ben. 

Remembrances may be sent to Calvary Lutheran church, Stayton, OR. 

Ashes will be interred beside her husband Herb and son Peter in Winona, MN. Funeral services will be Oct. 28, 2026, at 2:00 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Stayton, OR.
