Mark DeRosia

Mark L. DeRosia II, born on April 14, 1973, in Salem, Oregon, to JimmyeJean Vanhoos and Mark L. DeRosia and raised by Mark and his step-mother Hazel DeRosia, passed away on February 1, 2026 in Salem.

Mark grew up in Oregon and graduated high school before pursuing a career as a mechanic, a trade that suited his natural talent and love for working with his hands. He had a lifelong passion for classic cars, and he could often be found under the hood of a project, sharing stories, laughter, and classic rock with friends and family. His collection of Hot Wheels reflected the same enthusiasm and nostalgia that shaped so much of who he was.

Above all, Mark cherished time with the people he loved. Joking with friends or enjoying the company of his family, especially his granddaughter, Phoebe, was when he was happiest.

Mark is survived by his father, Mark L. DeRosia, and his stepmother, Hazel DeRosia; his sister, Saydyie DeRosia; his children, Brittany DeRosia, Emma DeRosia, Christopher DeRosia, Jacob DeRosia, Sydney DeRosia, and Aiden DeRosia; and his granddaughter, Phoebe Repolis. He was preceded in death by his mother, JimmyeJean Vanhoos.
