Russell L. Beougher Sr.

October 8, 1927 June 8, 2012 Stayton, Oregon Russell was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Ervin and Ellena Beougher.  He married Viola Smith in Florence, OR on June 13, 1949.  He worked in construction for many years and after he retired he went to work for Rainbow Foods/Grocery Outlet in Stayton.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and took great pride in keeping his yard looking nice.   A card carrying member of the Coyote Club, he spent many enjoyable moments at the Casino playing bingo.   He will be greatly missed by his children; Sharon Raupau of Salem, Ellena Tilson of Foster Lake, Russell Beougher Jr. of Stayton, sisters; Mavis Guthrie of Sacramento, CA, Millie Orton of San Diego, CA Dorothy Thomas of Phoenix, AZ and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.   Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2012  9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. at Weddle Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Lone Oak Cemetery.
