Sharon Dougherty

Sharon Dougherty, a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and hardworking tax consultant, passed away on May 20, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1967, in Oakland, California, to her parents, Patricia Dougherty and Thomas Dougherty. Sharon spent her childhood alongside her brothers, Brian and Tim Dougherty, forming lasting bonds that carried through her life.

She graduated from Denair High School, embarking on a journey that would lead her to a fulfilling career as a tax consultant with H&R Block. Sharon had a strong work ethic and took pride in helping others navigate their financial responsibilities. Beyond her professional achievements, she found joy in tending to her farm, where she cared for her beloved goats. Her passion for agriculture was matched only by her love for crocheting, a craft she used to create beautiful, handmade pieces for family and friends.

Above all, Sharon cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren. She delighted in their laughter and milestones, finding immense fulfillment in the love they brought into her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Patricia, as well as her grandparents, and her sister-in-law Kate Dougherty. Sharon leaves behind a legacy of kindness and perseverance, survived by her loving children, Amanda Dougherty and Becca White, and her treasured grandchildren: Tobin Mccord, Rilee Mccord, Easton Mccord, Cayden Schroeder White, Karson Schroeder White, Myles Schroeder White, and Mckenna White. She is further survived by her brothers Tim Dougherty and Brian Dougherty, as well as Brian's wife Laura and daughter Abbie.

Sharon will be remembered for her warm spirit, dedication to her family, and the joy she found in simple pleasures. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. Followed in death by her spouse Marilyn "Jean" Hanson.
