Aumsville- Sharon Elaine Coleman was born April 24, 1948, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Henry and Edith (Anderson) Watts. She was raised in Aberdeen and Olympia, Washington, as the family followed her father’s work. During her school years, Sharon played the violin and participated in high dive amongst other activities. She moved back to Oregon in her 20’s and settled in the mid-valley where she would live out her life. Sharon worked in various lumber mills and as a carpenter for manufactured homes at factories in Aumsville and Woodburn. Her hobbies included crocheting, baking, gardening, and swimming. Sharon enjoyed listening to music, especially the classics. And everyone knew of her love for Sam Elliot, and she referred to him as her “secret lover”. Sharon had a great sense of humor and one of her favorite sayings was, “I see said the blind woman”. She especially loved and adored her grandchildren. On May 23, 2020 Sharon passed away in Stayon, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Linda Teal. She is survived by her children Michelle (Greg) Morlan and Sonja Silbernagel; grandchildren Josh, Stormie, Hunter, and Stetson; and her brother Brian Watts.
