Sharon Marie Martin

Sharon Marie Martin, age 75, of Turner, Oregon, passed away peacefully in her home on October 16, 2025. She was born on August 26, 1950, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Virgil and Billy Jo Jackson.

Sharon spent many years as a devoted homemaker, raising her children and caring for her grandchildren. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and laughter. Later in life, she began working at Norpac, where she dedicated 13 years of hard work and friendship.

She spent the last 23 years sharing her life with her loving partner, Leonard “Jr.” Harp Jr., and together they built a beautiful life and home in Turner, Oregon.

Sharon is survived by her children, Jerry Martin Jr (Stacey) and Kristy Gardner (Gary); her beloved grandchildren, Chad Martin, Jera Pallas (Mike), and Jesa Lane (Cody); and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lane, Kadence Lane, Rhett Pallas, and Ryatt Pallas.

She is also survived by her siblings, Delores Wheeler, James Jackson (Linda), Linda Martin (Bill), Raymond Jackson (Linda), Loretta Walling, Joanne Johnston, Kathy Bartholomew (Bill), and Frannie Jump, and was preceded in death by her sister Pamela McCoy.

Sharon will be remembered for her kind heart, strong spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her laughter, warmth, and wisdom touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her legacy of love will live on through those she cherished most.

Services:

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Weddle’s Funeral Home in Stayton, Oregon.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton, Oregon.

Following the graveside service, please join the family for a celebration of life potluck at Sharon and Jr’s residence, 5912 “A” Street SE, Turner, OR 97392, to share stories, memories, and laughter in honor of our favorite gal
