Timothy Tim William Dunn

Timothy Tim William Dunn November 29, 1952 October 8, 2015 Aumsville, Oregon Tim met his Lord and Savior surrounded by family after a valiant seven month battle with cancer. His focus was always on the journey, not cancer. Tim was born in Salem to James and Emily Dunn. He attended North Salem and graduated from Salem Academy in 1971. Tim married his high school sweetheart, Belinda, on August 25, 1972 and together they raised three children. He graduated from Chemeketa in 1973 and was hired on there that fall where he worked for over 30 years. He started off as an equipment manager and instructor’s assistant before becoming a forestry instructor and program chair prior to retiring. Tim enjoyed biking, hunting, grilling, outdoors, nature, Nascar, watching his children and grandchildren play sports, spending time with family camping and boating, and holidays. He took pride in yard work and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers. Tim was also a runner and loved running races. He had a passion for teaching, coached his sons T-ball and basketball teams, was an Awana leader for years, and worked several summers for BLM fighting forest fires. Tim will be remembered as a fighter, a hero, a God fearing man, selfless, courageous, humble, hard worker, and provider. He gave his time to anyone who needed something done and he was always lending a helping hand to his children. Tim was preceded in death by his parents. He will be deeply missed by his beloved bride Belinda Dunn; children Jason (Michelle) Dunn, Alyssa (Ron) Worst, Stephanie (Jason) Perry; grandchildren Kaelyn, Liliann, Madelyn, Katie, Brookelyn, Skyla, Timothy James (TJ), Sydney, and Samantha; siblings Jim (Terry) Dunn, Dave (Ruth) Dunn, and Linda Jones. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church in Aumsville, Oregon on Saturday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Camp Attitude, PO Box 207, Foster, OR 97345, Memo: Tim Dunn Memorial. Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord  will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
