Tom Lynn Miller

Tom Lynn Miller, age 65, passed away on May 18, 2020 in Stayton. Tom was born in David City, Nebraska to Walter Frederick and Germaine Henrietta (Thill) Miller. The family moved to Stayton, and he attended Stayton High School. He lived in Stayton for most of his life. Tom spent the majority of his career as an Excavator for Emery and Sons Construction, and he retired in 2016. He loved nature, quading, camping, photography, shooting, and his birds. He was a hobbyist and an avid learner. Above all, he was a loving father to his 4 children: Paul, Shane, Troy and Allie. Tom is described by his children as a wonderful father, curious, funny, and smart (yet stubborn). He was also a “jack of all trades” – a MacGyver! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tom is survived by his children, Paul, Shane, Troy and Allie Miller; and his siblings, Jay Miller, Rex Miller, Nick Miller, Ramona Miller, Becky Glover and Fred Miller. Services will be announced at a later date.
