Tracy Kay Payne
August 14, 1959 — October 10, 2025
Tracy Kay Payne passed away Friday October 10, 2025, after a brave battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) with her devoted husband Terry by her side.
Tracy was born to Bruce Davis and Rosalie (Kuvaas) Davis on August 14,1959. She joined older sister Lori and was followed by younger brother Larry.
Tracy grew up in the Albany and Salem area and enjoyed spending time with horses growing up. Tracy treasured time with her grandma Ethyl (Ma) Davis and grandma Florence (Flo) Kuvaas. Tracy had two children of her own: Jennifer (1979) and Stephen (1987).
Tracy married Terry Payne February 14, 1996 in Corvallis. Tracy enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening, riding and training others to ride horses, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved an occasional trip to the casino. Tracy had a huge spot in her heart for her treasured dogs Flossy and Dolly.
Tracy was proceeded in death by father Bruce Davis, mother Rosalie (Kuvaas) Arnold, and stepfather Kelly Arnold. Tracy is survived by her loving husband Terry Payne of Corvallis, daughter Jennifer (Christopher) of Dallas, Or, son Stephen Adams Jr. (Chantielle) of Junction City, Or. stepchildren Keith (Rachelle) Payne of Monroe, Or, and Kerri Marie (Jered) McGrath of Corbett, Or. Grandchildren include Levi and Eli Cummins, Arabella and Aurora Adams, Bailey, Macy, Tobin, Jeremiah, and Maliah Payne, and Ashlyn McGrath. Tracy is also survived by sister Lori (Cary) Powell of Harrisburg, Or and brother Larry Davis of Eugene, Or.
There will be no service held at Tracy’s request.
