William Douglas Cruise, known as Billy, 65, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 11, 2024. Born in Lebanon, Oregon, to Douglas Cruise and Kaye DeKuyper (LaBlue), he attended Lebanon High School.


In the early 1980s, Bill moved to Oklahoma to be closer to his daughter Liberty, before settling in Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked in sales for Bargain Store Equipment for 20 years. He returned to Oregon in 2010, forming a close bond with his niece Melissa (Carl) Dalebout and their three daughters, Karlie, Lily, and Tylie. He met Terry Kennon on February 14, 2014, and they enjoyed a loving partnership for the past decade. He loved spending time hanging out with his monster dog (Chiweenie) “Molly”.


Bill is survived by his girlfriend Terry Kennon of Lebanon; daughter Liberty (Kyle) Cruise-Wisinger of Oklahoma; stepchildren Mary (Kevin) Fogle and Brandon Fogle of Arizona; granddaughters Breanna Tamplen, Kirsten Tamplen, and Andrea (Derek) Fogarty; grandson Josh Tamplen; and three great-grandchildren, Angelica, Axel, and Jase.. He is also survived by his siblings: Susan (Doug) Wright, Richard Cruise, Cathy (Jeff) Orcutt, and sister-in-law Deb Cruise, along with ten nieces and nephews and sixteen great-nieces and nephews, as well as many cherished friends and extended family.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Cruise and Kaye LaBlue, and brothers Ron, Kenneth, and Mike Cruise.


A Celebration of Life will take place on October 12, 2024, at 3 P.M. at 31112 Old Santiam Hwy, Lebanon. A second gathering for friends and family will be held at Sam’s Place in Lebanon on October 13, 2024, at 12 P.M.
